Get to Know Veronica
Veronica’s early work supporting youth in community and educational settings showed her how much people can carry beneath the surface. She witnessed how anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and life transitions can impact confidence, relationships, and the way someone views themselves. These experiences shaped her passion for creating a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Veronica works with teens and adults (14+) navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, neurodiversity-related challenges, trauma and the impact of past experiences, low mood, and self-harm. She also supports clients who may struggle to understand their emotions, trust themselves, or make sense of patterns that keep showing up in their lives and relationships.
Before becoming a therapist, Veronica experienced firsthand the value of having a space where she could feel heard, understood, and supported. Having navigated her own difficult seasons, she understands how hard it can be to carry what others may not see, to question yourself, feel overwhelmed by your emotions, or keep showing up for everyday life while quietly struggling beneath the surface.
She knows what it can feel like to be on the other side of the therapy chair, searching for a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged, misunderstood, or like you need to have everything figured out.
These experiences have shaped the therapist she strives to be today. Veronica is committed to creating a warm, safe, and genuinely accepting space where clients can come as they are, feel understood rather than judged, and begin to make sense of what they have been carrying.
She believes that sometimes having someone sit with you in the difficult parts without asking you to minimize them or rush through them can be an important part of healing and moving forward.
“You’re not broken. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about understanding you.”
Veronica believes therapy isn’t about changing who you are or fixing something wrong with you. It helps you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, build emotional skills, and create healthier ways to respond to life’s challenges.
