What is Acupuncture...

Acupuncture is a time-tested therapy rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves the gentle insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body. These points are selected to stimulate the body’s natural healing response, regulate the nervous system, and restore balance within the body. Modern acupuncture also integrates evidence-based approaches to support pain relief, recovery, and overall wellness.

How it can help...

Acupuncture is commonly used to address a variety of concerns, including chronic pain, muscle tension, stress, headaches, digestive issues, and sleep disturbances. Treatments are typically relaxing and tailored to your individual needs, often leaving you feeling calm and restored.

At Novelia Wellness, our practitioners provide thoughtful, personalized care in a calm and professional environment—supporting your health through a balanced, holistic approach.

Maryam Soltani

Registered Acupuncturist

With 22 years of experience at a specific maternal hospital in Iran and a master’s degree in midwifery, I focused on two acupuncture points in my master’s thesis. I figured out how a tiny point has an amazing effect on the body. Therefore, it aroused my strongpassion for acupuncture, and I studied acupuncture in Canada.

I graduated from Georgian College with Honors, Dean’s list letters for all semesters, and
an advanced diploma; I am a registered acupuncturist with the College of Traditional
Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) in good
standing.

My approach is to help people discover the body’s ability to heal itself through a combination of modern science and the traditional medicine of acupuncture to gain Integrative Mind-Body Healing and reach Mental-Emotional and physical balance! Since the Nature of the Mind in Chinese Medicine is “one of the vital substances of the body”.

To begin this journey, I emphasize the importance of the patients’ cooperation to
enhance better health, as I believe everyone has a unique power and ability to adapt
their lifestyle, and control their mind; furthermore, patient education and empowering
individuals help them to improve their overall well-being.
